this is the 1st wreath i made.
to start off you will need the following supplys:
Card Board
Glue Gun w/sticks
2 sided scapbook paper
solid colord paper
Optional items:
Glitter
Gems
Stamps
Paper punch
And many other items used for scrapbooking or card making !
Step One: Cut out a Circle from your card board
i used a old cardboard box and cut out a circle about the size of what i want the wreath to be (the cones do hang over it a little) and dont worry the cardboard wont show!
Step Two: Usen the 2 sided paper of ur choice cut out 19 or so squares around 6 inches
Step Three: Useing your Glue Gun roll the paper into a cone shape and Glue the corner down. Do this for all 19 squares
Step Four: Useing the Solid colord paper Cut out 16 slightly smaller squares then the first ones. Glue these into cones as well (they should turn out a little smaller then the first cones)
Step Five: Glue your first set of cones (the bigger ones) to the card board in a circle useing the glue gun of course
I also used a little glue on the sides of the cones so there wouldnt be any gaps. this also makes it more sturder!
Step Six: Useing the Glue gun, take your solid colord smaller cones and glue them ontop of the first cones.
I also cut the bottem of the cones off so they would fit nicer, and again glued the sides together as well.
Step Seven: Take another peice of solid colord paper and measure form the center up to where you want to cover the cones to. Cut a strip of that size.
Step Nine: Glue folded paper strip into a circle (if it isnt long enough u can add to it)
Step Eleven: Useing another colord peice of paper again measure out a smaller circle then the folded one.
I used a pair of Fancy cutting Scissors
Step Twelve: Glue that circle into the cented of the folded one.
Finally: Add any decorations you want to it !
Of course you can use any colors you want in your wreath !
I made mine for Christmas !
Here is one i made for EASTER!
